Louisiana Outdoor Cooking

Since my family spends an inordinate amount of time cooking outdoors, I thought I'd document our adventures here, post some of our lessons learned, and invite suggestions from others.

Living in South Louisiana we have plenty of reasons to cook outside, unfortunately the heat makes it almost impossible to enjoy sometimes!  But between crawfish boils, shrimp boils, BBQ, and frying turkeys we manage to have fun anyway.

I've learned the hard way that without the correct equipment any outdoor cooking adventure is difficult at best, and the results are never what you hope for.  I'll be posting pictures of the equipment we use and commenting about the performance.
